    welll about hotels i stayed at a aplace in katmata (tokyo) which was inexpensive and not tooo far from 3everything so manybe that a idea for you if you havnt found a place for japan yet

    Nope we arent getting JR pass as we are going to the islands. The only time we will use a long route Shinkansen is from Tokyo to Kyoto... The rest will be plane and some short route bus.

    I got pretty much all the places now :D
